This week was a scorcher! So hot, and not much rain. Hope your garden is holding up!
I Don’t Water My Garden
We don’t water our garden, almost ever….! Using a deep woodchip mulch we are able to hold water better, and so our crops survive the heat without extra water.
I’m not saying our yield wouldn’t be better if we watered, I am just saying woodchips cut back on the necessity!

We want to help fence your farm!
Fencing is one of those necessities of farming. It happens to be one of my least favorite activities. So, yea, thats not great….
BUT, over the last year I have experimented with rotational grazing and Movable Electric Fencing, thanks to some help from Stephanie from Premier 1.
