I blame Frontier House.
My wife Kendra has loved that PBS Documentary series since it first aired. She taped it on VHS. It covered the story of 3 families as they left their fast paced city lives behind and moved to the Montana Wilderness for 5 Months.
We first watched this series as newlyweds in our 3rd story apartment. Now, 5 years later, we live on a 10 acre farm in CT. Correlation?
It happened today. Thursday Jan 28, 2016. After re-watching the first 2 episodes of Frontier House, K has decided she wants to leave the fast paced, busy, stuff oriented life of CT behind and move to the “real country”. And for the first time in my life, having never moved more than 30 minutes from my childhood home, I think I’m ready to do it too.
Is this journey going anywhere? Will I really be able to do this? Where will we wind up?
